This year’s Annual Meeting, June 23-26, 2010, is in Boulder, Colorado, at the Millennium Hotel, in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The theme is Public Issues, Private Lives, with a focus on innovative approaches to therapy with vulnerable populations. We invite you to come to the meeting and tell us about the challenges and the successes in the work you are doing to help families and larger systems during these times of uncertainty, economic challenge and war.
There are dozens of smaller interest and discussion groups planned for the meeting, as well as four plenaries:
Plenary I: Pioneering Approaches to Outreach and Therapy with Native Americans
Presenter: Spero Manson
Plenary II: Mental Health Disparities and Cultural Issues
Presenters: Margarita Alegria, William Turner and Douglas Novins
Plenary III: Innovations in Couples Therapy
Presenters: Mona Fishbane, Jill Freedman, Gene Combs and Jean Malpas
Plenary IV: Vulnerable Youth and Resilience
